Induction programme in a new organisation :)
It's been two months + already and soon i will be working in a place where i no longer have to wake up at 4.30 and walk to the MRT station, take the first train and catch the staff bus; for my morning shift!
I cant wait for the official operation of the whole place!!! ^^

Met new friends and colleages at work! I getting to know them more!!!

Had FRIDAY Buckaroo dinner :)
Near Sembawang Park there! I've always wanted to go there since i was in secondary sch.
I always run / jog to Sbw park thru this long stretch of canals and will definitely pass by this particular dining place - Buckaroo.
Looks a bar or a place to drink, a nice place to chill out with frens as there's very peaceful :)
Never thought it was a dining restaurant that serves nice food.
Large share of western food. Big plate of salad! :x
Juicy fried mushrooms. OMG!

Had SATURDAY MacDonalds breakfast.

After dinner, i went to crash his lecture! Nice lecturer. Is Maths lecture, interesting!
Learnt the basics in Sec sch - A maths! (:
From 7 to 10pm. It's not boring, cos the lecturer do crack some cold jokes :x
After his lecture, we head down to MacDonalds Drive-thru.
Bought Mcnuggets Meal + Ice Milo + Shaker Fries! SUPPER to fill our stomachs.
Had supper while enjoying the nice scenery of Lower Seletar Reservoir. I LIKE IT!

WEDNESDAY brunch with huiying.
MAYIM! @ Northpt. This is getting crazy!
I had this just last week and i'm having it again this week!
I dont mind having it every week! :D
They have good service and nice food!!! Definitely must bring my family & friends go!
So Huiying and I had ... Dim Sum!

Their pineapple buns are super nice. In chinese we call 菠萝包. Mmmmmm... Smells nice, taste even nice.
But i think is pre-stuffed with custard cream! :x 奶黃菠蘿包? hahaha.

Then evening meet Ric for dinner. Takeaway Laksa from Yishun Central!
Long time since we had it, we both had cravings of LAKSA! :P
2 big packets of Laksa with lots of gravy! Cockles are good :x
I'm in love with the gravy! Mmmmmm...
After dinner, we head down to AMK Hub for movie - UP!
It's a very heartwarming movie indeed :)
Love it. THUMBS UP! like the whole storyline.

THURSDAY morning with a lazy yawn!
My younger bro no need go to sch, woke up with the loud noises from his desktop! :x

Couldn't get to sleep after tt.
Washed up and ate my cereals w milk + banana cake. Oops, seems like alot! :x
Mummy bought Nasi Lemak home and we had three big packets at the same time (: Greedy me, greedy bro! hahaha

FAMILY. WORK. FRIENDS. FOOD. SPORTS.

Family dinners are getting lesser as we get more busy each day.
Yes, we're busy! :) We can also manage our time and make time for ourselves and others too.
Squeeze time out no matter how tight schedules really are.
Time management! I need to juggle time and work really well. Still working on it :)
Been wanting spend more time with family. But seems mum has her own activities out with her colleages and besties. Bro busy with his sch work, sis busy with her sch work + sec sch frens and dad (even no need to say!) busy with his hectic work schedules overseas :x
Somehow we just cant really meet up for just a simple meal. Let's not look into that ):
Work shifts are always irregular. U cant have all morning shifts to yourself as it's unfair, u wont know the patients well too. And most important point is u will get tired very easily for all the morning shifts u've done. And similarily to afternoon as well as night shifts. 3 nights already tire me out totally like a zombie walking home deprived of sleep :o
Afternoon shifts will be even as bad too as there'll be lots of transfers, admissions too.
Work may be challenging but it can also keep u growing, learning and be groomed :) Get yr brains working and keep the pace, the momentum going. Driven! Work hard, work smart!
Work, there'll be stress at times. Face the stress positively, the stress made u a stronger person who will eventually face even more challenges in future to come :)
Friends are important in life too! They share conversations, jokes, fun, joy, excitement and even secrets! Keep up, and catch up with them often. love to share our ups and downs in our "happenings" recently to them (: Anything under the sun! ^^

Learnt communication skills for managing difficult interactions. YES! we nurses do need them.
Very useful. But i always think it's so easy to say than done...
Application is another thing. The thing is : Do we know how to apply in such situations?
Well, we all have our own expectations - realistic and unrealistic.
Most importantly, how do manage our emotions??
Behaviour in others and ourselves.
Be reflective of our emotions. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT.
Be mindful! :) What to say and what not to say in certain situations.
Communication in end of life issues.
We get to do - Templer's Death Anxiety Scale.
Super fun, to test the level of anxiety in you abt death.
I'm alittle anxiety over death issues. My score is +2.
Actually depends on age, life experiences, etc... How much exposure u had :)
And many many factors do play a part too.

I love to keep goldfish as pet!
Fishes swimming in the aquarium makes me want to go swimming!
The smell of their food... always reminds me of the times i'm only 5 - 6 years old having a big aquarium at home with lots of goldfishes swimming.
And... having my pointer making a trail round and round following the goldfish :)
So fun!!!

SIMS 3... i'm obsessed with it! I CANT STOP PLAYING :) hahhaa...

Graphics is the same as Sims 2 but sims 3 is totally like a real world :P

Working as a clerk not easy k! -is totally like a ward coordinator! Everything must know on his/her fingertips!!! Any of the staff will jus approach u and ask u things!! =x

I bursted out into laughter... huiying no longer can control too.

First & Second day @ Ward!

ILOVE56! :)

First day *13th April'09 :
MOstly orientation with sister in the ward. Get to know the changes of every single thing in the ward as compared to our prcp times. haha!
What we're expected and what we need to know. LOTS!
And we alr got our buddy preceptor! MY preceptor is a newcomer in our ward. She's nice :)
Most of the staff couldn't recognise us when we're back in the ward. They're pretty shocked but happy tt we actually been chosen back again! TO SERVE ^^
Loves ur sister as she loves to share, always eager to share with us. Joke and have fun! If need to get serious, we're will get real serious. Time to have fun, SUPER DUPER FUN and LOTS OF LAUGHTER! =D
8am - 4pm was all abt the ward orientation :)
Then, we meet Huiying bestie, Song Yu and Andy to have dinner @ Sembawang Food Junction :)
TOM YUM NOODLE!
Hmm... this time i didn't pour or topple any CHINESE TEA -(we call it "TIONG KOK TEH").
Maybe get to topple the tom yum soup! ^^ BEWARE, SONG YU! hahahaha :D
Always lots of lame funny jokes and laughter with huiying bestie and song yu. Thanks for the laughing therapy sessions provided. I really appreciate to be part of the member club! :D

Second day *14th April '09:
Working morning shift with zhou li :)
Something interesting happened this early morning @ 0510am.
I was walking out from my hse and passed this bus stop opp my hse... Saw this lady was looking at me.
I continue walking and she actually followed me, called me from behind. She was asking if i'm walking to the MRT station too. I was like... "Hmmm, ya?" She was so happy and she asked me to join her, same way by the way.
"alright..."
"Are you a nurse?"
"Yup, u also?"
"Yes."
"Where are u working at?"
"NUH."
"So coincidental! ME TOO!!!"
... and the conversation went on and on and on...
So i happened to know this lady working in NUH MICU! Haha... We can actually cab down tgt if we're working on sunday morning shifts. YIPEE!!!
Wake up early, walk to mrt station, catch the first train, rush for the staff shuttle and reached NUH!
So, back to what second day in ward is abt...
First we start as assistant nurses first... (for 1 - 2 weeks)
Lots of checklists to complete and courses awaiting for us! ^^
I feel the stress now... haha!! Only second day ehhH!
Having the responsibility of a staff nurse!!!
Once u're wearing yr staff uniform, who cares u're only one day or one year experience?
Public still view as u're already a staff and please do know yr things well. BE PROFESSIONAL!
Went for VAC dressing training in the afternoon right after work @ 3pm.
Super funny... So communicative! PRoactive. So many questions and jokes. Well, i learnt alot.
Thanks for the in-house training u all provided.
Next, we gotta rush for SAKURA! @ Clementi Woods - near NUH but... Super not accessible!
We're even got lost in west coast, clementi... it's not really visible. And u dont know the place well worse! haha...

This is supposed to be a farewell dinner as well as a welcome new staff dinner!!! ^^
Nice food :) 13ppl turned up! Even the night shift staff turned up. haha!!! =D
We shld organise more gatherings like this.

Wednesday - Friday ^^

Wed & Thurs :- Last 2 days of NUH Orientation.
Lectures with lots of laughter and fun. Discussions among our new grps as the whole cohort being separated into 2 big groups (one @ NUS building, @ NUH Staff lecture hall)
We've gotten our ultimate SKY!!! -SKY is our grp name and also our grp leader's name :)

`Wednesday dinner with Corin and Andy @ Suntec Kenny Rogers!

Total of 14 groups in the whole cohort! We've got to participate in EASTER EGG COMPETITION! Each of the groups gotten 2 eggs to start with (:
We come out with the plan, theme and the designs - portfolio. haha!
Really seems like back to sch days where we used to do this in art class :D
We start designing our eggs the following day, Thursday!!

Mummy, sis, bro and I went out to ECP!!!~
We went cycling at first. 15mins of cycling meets the heavy rain ):

We saw tornado! -a mini one...
So we waited for the rain to simmer down, then cycle again!
Lucky the rain stopped and we had lots of fun!
2hrs of cycling... then we ate icecream -SHOW YOUR LOVE!-
Next, Kangoo Jumps! yeah...

Sis, bro and i put on our kangoo jumps... and JUMP! HOP! RUN!
The moment i stepped into the shop, i saw three handsome guys and one woman :)
I guess the woman is one of the handsomes' mum.
At first my bro was alittle frightened, seems like he's falling forward and he dont keep his back straight!! haha... Well, we led the crowd and alot of ppl looking at the 3 of us ^^
We're like 3 kangaroos jumping and hopping around.

I perspired alot =x First time wasn't that bad but this is the second time, seems like i've used alot of energy during my jumping with sis n bro :P
After one hr of jumping, we get ourselves cooled down and we got Carl's Jr Fries for our little treat.

Then went to Marine Parade for MINI STEAMBOAT! -dinner was sumptous :)

Then some shopping and walking to help digestion, home sweet home ends the whole day!
11pm reached home.

9am - 6pm for straight 4 days this whole week...

Sit whole day for lectures.
Breakfast, sit n listen, Tea Break, sit n listen, Lunch time then sit n listen and then final tea break, sit n listen again... finally lecture ends. WOW! Like back to school days =x

Friday:- Kangoo Jumps @ East Coast Park!
Meet Corin and Andy to play kangoo jumps. FINALLY!
New experience to wear, try on kangoo jumps and RUN! :D
SUPER FUN. Everyone was looking at us... we're weird. haha!!!
1 hr for ten bucks. for subsequent hr is extra 5 bucks.
We jus rent for 1 hr will do. 2 hrs, we will be too exhausted.

Then we went Marine parade to shop shop and eat.
We dine @ Siam Kitchen. Food rating was only so so, i still prefer Thai Express! :)
What we ordered... 1 combo grilled beef, chicken, prawns and sotongs & 2 set dinners - inclusive of 2 soups (Tom Yum and Meatball soup); 2 appetisers (chosen Pomelo Salad and Takopachi Octopus balls) and 2 main dish (chosen glass noodles and sweet n sour prawn w rice)
We had dessert : Icecream @ Andersen's! -Waffle cone with Belgium Chocolate w 3 scoops of icecream
Mango, Macademia Nut and Banana Crunch! YUMMY!

Went out with corin get Nursing Practising Cert @ MOH Nursing board. Then meet up Andy to go sing k @ Ten Dollar KTV @ Chinatown!!! ( 2 - 6pm ) SING TILL HIGH HIGH!!! :D
got free flow of drinks... got nice dessert. YUM! We got the six person rm and we 3 pay 6 ppl amt... and of cos we get 6 ppl de SERVICE! muahahaha...

Then after that i went to find vana and kelli @ lucky plaza to chill. Dine @ Far East Shopping Mall Chicken Rice... Fast service! :P Then we go chill @ KFC to transfer photos... WOAH! SO MANY PHOTOS taken from Taiwan... Woooo :O

Saturday and sunday keep slacking @ home and play SIMS 2. haha!!!

Met Weihao in the morning to pass me psp cable!!! -YES, my psp got Loco Roco 2 and Patapon 2!! :P
Went out with corin to ANCHOR POINT to shop and have lunch tgt.
Unfortunately... we didn't get to eat @ Mickey Restaurant... Was renovating and another new shop opening ): So we eat @ Jack's Place.

Then we shop shop around @ Queensway Shopping Centre and next we head down Wilson's hse to swim!!! (: YES... u think we siao... but i more excited to swim everyday tho :P
We three swam from 5plus to 730pm then head back shower and prepare for DINNER!!
Alright... this is bad part again ):
We wanted to dine @ Casuarina Curry but... the stall isn't open for business at all!!!
Ahhhh... so unlucky right? ): Nvm, so we went to one food stall jus beside Casuarina Curry to order and eat on the spot + watch the last episode of Channel 8 Zhu Fu De Jia Qi ... @ 9pm!!!
After that, we head back home! Played Loco Roco 2 almost the whole night :D NO SWEAT!

And we managed to go! Rain stopped and the sun is out! YEAH =P Super FUN!!!
Then we settle our dinner @ Jurong Point - Burger King. GO shop shop around then go home :)
Also bought goodies from Jap Store, saw alot of nice japanese restaurants in Jurong Pt. Wan to try :P

Fri:: Morning went to sch to get Official Academic Transcript with Karen then meet Corin for dinner, movie and chill out with Wilson @ Cineleisure and Dempsey Hills.
Ate Xin Wang for dinner. YUMMY!
Watched Marley and Me, a NICE movie. GO catch it while it's still in theatres! :P
Chilling out @ Dempsey hills CA was really a new experience. First time there... drinking, chilling out with the live band there. The female singer was really charismatic and she sings pretty well. Love her version of I'm Yours by Jason Mraz.

Last swim was during the week before i went Taiwan~!

I think i will miss swimming in sch!
We're graduated, and our NYP Student card soon can no longer be in use!!

Monday dinner + movie.

Went out to VIVO City Marche to settle dinner.
Full dinner! ^^ loves the chicken sausage rolitz - if i dont spell wrongly... potato thingy (:
and also the crepes. YUMMY! Banana Crepe + Chocolate icecream! -BEST desert!
5 different dishes. 2 mentioned above + Smoked Salmon Caesar Salad + Cream Chicken Pasta + Haiwaiian Pizza.
Then head down to GV for movie - Departures. (Okuribito)

A movie with little humour inside + some touching parts. A nice movie (:
This man in the movie call Daigo, a young married cellist who played in an orchestra but got disbanded. So without a job, he decided to move back to his hometown with his wife.
Then he got a job as an undertaker while looking thru the newspapers - dealing with departures. At first, he thought it was a travel agency; to be a travel agent. haha!

NOT BAD! got one-quarter of the class came! ^^

We went MindCafe @ Purvis St. 2hrs of gaming :P
We played one stupid and simple game (introduced by Thomas, haha :D) + Saboteur!

SO DAMN FUN! :D love gaming @ MindCafe. Must go often. haha!!!
We had snacks plus free flow of drinks while gaming. We ended ard 7pm.
Then we head down to Food Junction nearby to eat our dinner.
After that, cheeps went to book in liao... left ten of us to go MarinaSQ starbucks to chill :P

Then is both of us2 turn to show... the person shocked and said," WHY ah? I think u both need to take again..." hahahaha! We both managed to retake again and got normal results (: Then, we got our uniforms + 1 pair of shoes taken ^^
After that, we went on our separate ways- HOME!!

Zhao's b'dae... HAPPY B'day ZHAOYI! (:
Went to Taipei Bank to exchange more $$. Not enought Taiwan $$ haha :D
Ate their Ah Zhong Mee Sua for breakfast, YUMMY!
Took MRT down to Bei Tou and went to sightseeing. Saw flowers blooming @ Yang Ming Shan!!!
SPRING SEASON! ^^ We started to feel like as if we're back in sg cos it's 24 degrees celsius!
WARM ehh?! ya... we were wearing shorts. haha :D Everyone walking past us were looking at all 5 of us :x We tried out the icecream -Gelato! @ Yang Ming Shan. Spain Girl (Cherry) Gelato, Hazelnut Chocolate Gelato, Mint Chocolate Gelato, and many more... And and and.... I got comments to make ahHH!!! -abt the bus we took from Yang Ming Shan down back to their Mrt station... every 40mins come one bus. FREAKING alot of ppl ahh!!! and they push push push and even dart ppl like no one's business! WE ALL WANT TO COMPLAIN!!! :x
We then went down to shop @ night market again *this time is @ Dan Shui :)

Thurs 5/3
We can wake up even later than the prev days ^^ Went for brunch- Yummy breakfast we saw just located downstairs our Hostel :)
We then head down to 101 Building. up to level 88, 89 and 91!!! Their observatory levels...
Can look down and view all the building in taipei... WOOO!
Ate icecream @ COLDSTONE. SUPER NICE...
Oh ya... and got Xin Yi Shopping District, Xin Yi Shopping Mall, Xin Yi Business District... Xin Yi this Xin Yi there... hahaha! I felt so "FAMOUS" but... the chinese characters not exactly my chinese name :) But oh well, nice nice to see my name everywhere in Taipei!
Went to Jian Tan for shopping :P
Went down to Shihlin Night market again to shop finish all the shops but it started raining ):
Love their fried chicken! almost everyday eat. FAT already... OOPS!

We went to Beitou hotspring!!! (:
OMG >.> Public indoor hotspring... We five of us went in and i felt like as if we're invading into other ppl's privacy!!! All naked :0
NO BIKINI, NO SWIMWEAR! hahaha... two hotsprings divided by one cold, one hot...
THe cold one is 38 degree celsius, the hot one 41 ): 2 degree difference sounds small but it feels BIG!!!! hahahaha ^^ We all keep staying in the cold one. haha :D GREAT EXPERIENCE! :P
Afternoon "high tea" @ Xi Men Ting to eat the Ah Zhong Mee Sua again. haha! JUs love the mee sua there... i dont really like to eat the pork stomach thingy in the mee sua but with the smell & the taste of the whole bowl of mee sua, i jus gobble them all down into my stomach. haha :D
Went to cut hair too... Excited to show my new hairstyle to my family and sg friends :)
After haircut, dinner @ Modern Toilet. Alright, sounds like we're going to toilet, but NO!
The theme in the restaurant is TOILETS! ^^ We gave Vana a surprise birthday celebration!
haha... HAPPY BIRTHDAY VANA! > her b'day on 9th MArch, we celebrate in advance, somemore in Taipei. HUGGIES :P
All the seats are designated toilet bowls, tables are bathtubs with shower heads :P Food served in bedpans, toilet bowls, anything related to toilet!!! Drinks in urinals too! hahaha... Desserts are served in big shares, in squating toilet bowls :P My Baked Spaghetti in bathtub (:
Damn cool ehh? We snapped alot of photos. Will definitely upload them k? So... STAY TUNED! 10days passed. Left one more day! :)
I LOVE TAIPEI. I'm starting to love staying in the hostel, but still miss my hse bed and family!!!

`7th day~!
Set off around 10am and ate Mcdonalds... Their hotcakes are nicer, their butter is even nicer!
Healthy! They dont have salt :x They only provide pepper. AND.... They dont have BFF!!!! ARGH! BBF: Big Breakfast!
We went Zhong Xiao Dun Hua Station and shop...
It's totally like our Dhoby Ghaut Exchange but it's much more bigger and wider! They call i the E-Mall. Cool...
SUPER lots of shops... but the things there are either quite ex ): or super cheap :x
Oops i should say super WORTH IT~! haha...
We went Taipei City Hall station next where u can see the NEO19, 101 Building, etc... like another Orchard, but it's a much bigger one... More shopping again!!! ^^
Then next Wu Fen Pu (: Another Shopping area... Like BUGIS kind. Buy alot of stuff. haha!!! :D

SUPER COLD! 15 degree celsius! hahaha :D

`first day: jioufen ;) A-Home. Makes me feel like i'm really at home! Mountainous areas (:
Travelling up and down makes me puke! *Carsick ):
The ppl there are very friendly!!! And we even met five other Japanese frens, they came the day before we left. Lovely breakfasts every morning with nice cup of hot milk tea! TV programs unlimited... 187 channels. OMG~! watch till yr eyes popped out ppl also wont know arh!
Taiwanese mahjong is so confusing! Anyway, i dont even play mj, so why bother? haha :D

`second-third day: sightseeing & shopping. Goodies are all i spent my money on!~ OMG :D
Just dislike rainy days man... but no choice. Having our umbrellas with us while shopping... can u imagine? We went shopping out to other cities - Kee Lung. SHOPS everywhere :O
And we shopped till 11 and no bus for us to go back our A-home. Becos there's only one bus to our home and considered as mountainous area. Certain timings only :) So in the end, we managed to cabbed up the mountain! ^^v 5 of us squeezed in one cab with lots of food. haha!!!
We went taking trains to other areas too, went to see the waterfall!

`fourth day: left A-home and move on to Taipei Xi Men Ding Backpackers Hostel! (:
our next nightstay for 6nights :) Went shopping almost everyday!!! Xi Men Ding is another shopping area and lots of food!!! Our luggages are alr filled with too much goodies and clothes we bought! hahaha... only the 4th day and we had problems stuffing them nicely in our luggages and we all have an extra bag -A goodie bag :)

`fifth day: we went shopping @ ShihLin. FOOD and shopping again!!!
Super crowded on SUNDAYS! "Squeeze!!!" We five of us even got separated in the middle of our shopping. haha!! But eventually we got back again :) loves strawberries with loads of condensed milk... Zhiling and me love them alot! YUMMY :D We get to wash our clothes over at the nearest Coin Laundry Machines (: We ate cup noodles there while our clothes are washing and get dried too. I managed to eat the 一度赞 cup noodles that kevin dear recommended! Nice :) Thanks, love.

`sixth day!!! : AMUSEMENT PARK @ Leo Foo Village Park!
three, two. We're separated. Zhiling and I took almost 30 rides in total!
took few rides repeated. NICE! ENJOYED ourselves. And took loads of photos (:

3 weeks of hols jus gone LIKE THIS...

and only 3 days more to TAIWAN trip!!!
Shouts: "ARE YOU GALS READY?"
~ Cant wait!!!

To her:
I know it's hard to accept things that u didn't expect it would turn out like this way.
People around u putting pressure, saying things that made u hard to breathe, many nasty things that almost made u give up.
Dont feel useless, dont feel down. Most importantly, dont be demoralised.
It seems tough and takes a longer time than others. You see... U can walk, run or even crawl eventually will still reach the same destination. The only thing is time factor.
It's okay, gal. Certain things we do need a longer time to understand and complete, but remember to be confident in whatever u're doing. Learning journey has no end.
Getting up once again and be determined! Be strong, though you may think ppl has already stepped further than u; u might even learn more than the rest (:
Dont give up! Remember u have already gone so far.
HUGS and KISSES to u, gal. U still have family and friends supporting u... ^^

Some encouragement:

Personal feelings going thru...
There are times things just dont run smoothly in relationships.
Sometimes we just dont know what to do to make a good r/s.

Say for an example, 1) Emotional support vs emotional demands.
I felt this is the most common concern. Important!!!
Emotional support is always be there for him; behind him no matter wat. But this doesnt mean that agreeing in each other all the time. Everything also say ya, true, i agree... right. CRAP!
Truthfully, there's no 2 people will agree on all situations. Emotional support means treating each other in a way of love, trust and always with him thru anything. Everyone needs support and encouragement too! The motivation to go further!(:
Emotional demands worsen and damage the r/s. Emotional demands are like insisting yr partner to spend all of his time with u, insisting him to give up his time for his friends or family just for u. Or insisting only to spend time around yr friends, making sure u make the decisions on how u both going to spend time tgt, where to go, what to do and even make him guilty when he spend his time with his family or friends. Making sure u win all arguements, only insist that yr feelings are the most important. These are all emotional demands in a r/s. It's a NO NO!
I think having both emotional support and emotional demands balanced in a r/s is tough but both can play a part in making a good r/s tgt (:
Most importantly is accepting one and another's differences and not insisting to meet yr needs only in the way u wan. Finding out how he shows love and concerns for u by the way he do things, etc.
Dont set criteria before u've satisfied (: i think saying i love u, blahblah... should not b the demands and the "need to be said often" in r/s.

Next example. 2) Spending time tgt and also apart.
I think this is another common r/s concern.
Not spending enough time tgt? Not been able to have more personal time on yr own?
You may enjoy time tgt with him and he may also wan some time tgt with u, but u also may wan to spend time alone by yrself, or with yr friends. Dont get the thinking that he dont spend time with u means that he dont love u, dont care for u as u really need. In my opinion, should go and share the feelings abt what u need from the r/s in terms of the time spending tgt / apart.
Not forgetting he does need some personal space too (: Compromise on how u both can spend more time tgt and leave him having the freedom to be alone or with his friends/family when needed w/o having feelings neglected, rejected and also w/o thinking tt he's selfish, not caring at all (: Putting yrself in his shoes. If demanding on what u wan regardless of his needs will only end up driving him away n strain the r/s badly.

3) Money matters too!
HEADACHE ahhH!~ No money, no talk?
Money is important. Movies, shopping, dining out, travelling tgt all needs money.
Wherever u go, whatever u do also need money... especially in S'pore.
So in r/s do need to talk abt money matters, making decisions on how to handle money properly and spending money wisely.
Talking abt it tgt! Not individually but mutually :) Ya, it seems so much easier to think abt how to handle/control money on yr own, but having another person involved, best solutions may not be those u think of jus on yr own. By discussing and cooperating tgt may not provide the best solutions but at least knowing u and him agree on how to deal/approach the situation and the problem will relieve alot of stress ^^ Dont always talk abt money, if not ppl think u're money-minded. haha! So calculative for what? :D

4) Coping with changing expectations in a r/s. "Stress... "
R/s changes over time. Wat u wan, wat u need from a r/s is totally diff from the beginning of a r/s as compared to a r/s been tgt for a number of years. Changes in areas of life, changes outside r/s, changes of environment do play a part too.
As i always believe tt an environment and time can change a person, but... i was only half right. It is not a total change in the person. Same goes to the r/s. So sure enough to make time for each other to talk abt expectations, negiotate responsiblities and also the changes been going thru in the r/s as well.
Important: be careful and respectful in listening in what each other has to say, to pay attention to what each wants. Communication; right tone and clear message to be carried across. I'm sure u dont wish to have many misunderstandings in yr r/s :)
Certain changes in a r/s tend to be alittle stressful but it's inevitable. Cannot avoid one! Sooner or later still have to face the changes and go along with it. Why not face the changes tgt instead?
Same goes to the problems in r/s, dont hide and think they will be solved as time passes.
No, no... as time goes, small problem become big ones. Isnt that worse?
Well, i would accept the change and take it for a reason- an opportunity to strengthen the r/s! Dont try to keep the changes from happening. Maybe should plan for changes tgt, then will lead the r/s to b more exciting!!!

:: Not mentioning partner's friends and family factors as this is going to be kind of lengthy. haha!

Comments: The service was BAD :(
1. The person over the cashier took wrong orders. (how can 2 person having one toast set & 3 Milo?)
2. Didn't repeat our orders when we requested him to repeat before payment.
3. Attitude was really bad. Is either he dont understand we're saying or he's still asleep.
4. Forgot our eggs which supposed to be included in our toast set.

Well, we went to rent skates instead.

It's a golden opportunity for me to learn.

SO... during cny, my family and i went overseas - MALAYSIA!
went to Cameron Highlands and KL

1st stop! -Cameron highlands.
Many many sharp turns, turn here and there... mountain roads :x
Almost vomit, fainting spells ): travelling up mountains makes me sick!
By the time we reached there, already dinner time.
We went to makan!- Steamboat.
Then find hotel for night stay (:
Found Equatorial Hotel... nice place!

FIRST TIME having reunion dinner out overseas!
and get to go relax relax! ^^

After a long day of travelling.... we finally get to rest. 1st day ended.
2nd day started with a early morning wakeup call from mummy @ 5.30am
We went travelling again... around Cameron Highlands. First, settle our breakfast! (:

NEXT STOP IS STRAWBERRY FARM + BOH TEA GARDEN + BEE FARM

YUMMY!!! love strawberries.... .... :)

Got to travel up and up to the top of the mountain *VERY VERY HIGH!*
I can even touch the clouds -water vapour! Hahaha...
Can even smell the tea leaves... Get to see them picking the tea leaves...

LIKE-able! :D

working for these past 2months+ with my future colleages have been so much fun and laughter, not only troubles but also gone thru certain issues in the management.
Really want to say a big thankyou to all of them :)
Especially the ward sister, even tho she's new in our ward she work extremely hard and gets along well very fast with us. Worked with her tgt, guided me alot... She's nice. Maybe tt's the reason why i wanted and chosen to go back there after i graduate.
There's one particular AN said i'm weird, but likeable. haha! I just take it as a compliment (:

CNY is coming soon... in like one week's time. And it seems like it just passed :x
Worn out, shacked. Going to miss loads of fun if i chose not to join them.
Still deciding whether to go overseas with them. Maybe i have already forgiven him, but in the heart i might jus cant be bother with him anymore.
Sometimes i just think to myself that why should i be wasting my time my energy to get so worked up and frustrated over him. I think i've changed my mind. I wish... ...
I cant make up my mind. She asked me to think abt it and I will ... but when?
Left almost less then a week's time of prcp, not sure how's my performance so far.
Midway feedback is on its way. haha!!
Going to have a presentation on my case study with sister this coming tues. Hopefully, I've fully prepared and ready to go :) Wish me luck ^^

8weeks of learning and adapting.
and... 3weeks+ to end my prcp.

READY? GET SET... GO!!! :)
- NUH WAY. set my goals.
I would love to stay in NUH, but i would like to go over AH too.
NO hesitation!! -decided and i'm happy with my final decision (:
Travelling time is long but i'm happy with the ward setting, management and also most importantly the ward sister, staff nurses, assistant nurses and even the doctors there ^^
they will train and groom me in NUH :)
-i'm ready!-

Today marks our 18th month anniversary :P
woah. one & a half year of r/s. That's fast!~
jiayou jiayou... stepping stones ahead to our future.
We are both working, even tho we seldom meet up for meals, shopping or movies but our hearts still have each other :)
